Description:
Unilateral continuous or near-continuous pain, with or without superimposed brief paroxysms, in the distribution(s) of nervus intermedius and of unknown aetiology.
Diagnostic criteria:
- Pain in the distribution(s) of nervus intermedius1 on one or both sides
- No cause has been identified
- Not better accounted for by another ICHD-3 diagnosis.
Note:
In the auditory canal, auricle and/or region of the mastoid process.
