Description:
Headache caused by a non-vascular intracranial disorder other than those described above.
Diagnostic criteria:
- Any headache fulfilling criterion C
- A non-vascular intracranial disorder known to be able to cause headache, other than those described above, has been demonstrated
- Evidence of causation demonstrated by at least two of the following:
- headache has developed in temporal relation to onset of the non-vascular intracranial disorder
- either or both of the following:
- a) headache has developed or significantly worsened in parallel with worsening of the non-vascular intracranial disorder
- b) headache has significantly improved in parallel with improvement of the non-vascular intracranial disorder
- headache has characteristics typical for the non-vascular intracranial disorder
- other evidence exists of causation
- Not better accounted for by another ICHD-3 diagnosis.
